Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette Review

I had my eye on the Modern Renaissance palette since its release in summer 2016. I finally got my hands on it on cultbeauty.co.uk in the December, an early Christmas treat for myself 😁

The palette cover is a sturdy cardboard & a light mauve colour. Inside, there are 14 shades in the palette, 3 shimmer & 11 matte. It has a mirror inside & it also comes with a doubke ended brush, one flat side & one fluffy blending side. The eyeshadow colours are extremely pigmented, there really isn’t much blending to do with them. The only downside to this palette is there’s a good bit of fallout, so you have to tap the excess of your brush before applying, otherwise the eyeshadow will fall on your face when applying. I have used the eyeshadows with & without a primer, & they really last all day regardless. To make the shimmer shadows more intense, I spray setting spray on my brush before I dip in the shadows. This really brightens the colours up on the eye’s & makes them stand out more.

The eyeshadow palette is very versatile, you can create hundreds of looks with this palette. I love using it on clients & myself for any occasion, whether it be bridal, debts, special occasions or everyday wear. This is a massive must have for anyone who is makeup mad. You can purchase it Here for around €47 or sign up to the waiting list if it’s out of stock.
