I was on the hunt for an affordable nude lipstick and the Flormar Absolute Nude caught my eye. It’s a beautiful pink toned nude.
Here’s the description of the product: “A cashmere effect with full coverage! Special formula that combines the finest colour pigments with an infusion of last generation moisture – boosting complex. Orchid Complex leaves the lips smooth and provides moisturizing. Fights free radicals and reduces appearance of fine lip lines. Shea butter and Cacao butter gives hydration and protection to the lips with mild and soothing effect. A full basket of anti-oxidants loaded formula leaves lips wrapped in light glossy color, comfort, nourishing and protection.”
I have worn this a few times & I have to say, I love it. I normally wear the liquid lipsticks, so it’s nice to have a change. The colour is very pigmented, but it definetly gives more of a matte then a glossy finish. There is a slight gloss effect to it though. It reminds me of one of the nivea lip balms I use to own, the feel of it on my lips & the smell (that’s a good thing, as I hate lipsticks that have a strange smell). It’s not very drying on the lips & the longivity is average. If I have a drink or eat, the lipstick wears off a good bit, so I have to reapply. This is a lipstick though, not a liquid lipstick, so I wasn’t surprised I had to reapply.
All in all, this lipstick is a must for everyone. It suits all skin types and is beautiful, whether you are looking for a nude lipstick for a natural look or if you’re wearing the full on smokey eye. This definetly completes any makeup look. I purchased mine in Molloys pharmacy in Roscommon Town for only €5.95. You can buy it online or in other pharmacies that have the Flormar range.
