Garnier Skin Active Aqua Mask Review

I was in my local Boots, Roscommon when I seen the Garnier Skin Active Aqua Mask in the clearance section for only  €0.50, so I purchased the last two.

My skin is dry, so I always love to try out products that claim to bring moisture back to it. So here’s the low down of this product:
“A new generation of face mask combining Pomegranate and Glycerin in a fresh jelly texture. It hydrates to quench skin’s thirst and it rehydrates skin in just 10 minutes, leaving it replumped and silky-smooth. No Parabens. Immediately: skin looks bouncy, fresher. Long-lasting effectiveness: skin feels hydrated, suppler and softer.
How to use: Apply on clean and dry skin. Avoid eye and lip areas. Leave on for 10 minutes, then massage in the excess product until completely absorbed or remove excess with a cotton pad.”

I cleansed my skin with the Garnier Micellar Water, patted my face dry & put the product on my face, avoiding my eye & lip area as stated. I left the product on for about 20 minutes, as I wanted to get more out of the product (like leaving conditioner on your hair a bit longer to get the most of it). There was no tingly sensation or it didn’t have a bad odour, as I find some face masks do. I rubbed the cream in again after the 20 minutes & removed the excess with a cotton pad.

Honestly, this made no difference at all to my skin. It felt the exact same, still dry in places, not replumped or silky smooth as the product stated. I was extremely disappointed with the results. I absolutely love the Garnier range, just this mask was not for me.

You can purchase these in pharmacies for around the €2 Mark.
