I was on the look out for a new contour palette, as I couldn’t justify using my Kat von D shade and light one every day, plus my clients were looking for a more affordable option with great quality. Just by chance, I was in Molloys pharmacy and I spotted the Sculpted by Aimee palette. I swatched them and instantly I was in love. It had to be mine!
I ordered it online as Molloys had a 20% discount and so I waited. I was so excited when it arrived! It comes with tips and a how to contour and highlight step by step sheet, which is perfect for anyone that is unsure. First colour up is the bronze colour for the contour, which is absolutely ideal for us Irish girls, as we have such fair skin. You can also build the colour up more if you prefer a real full on contour. Then we have a golden powder highlight which is beautiful. Ideally, this would be perfect to add as a night time glam for your highlight areas. Then last we have a cream champagne colour. I normally don’t use creams on my own skin as they don’t seem to suit my skin type, making me more oily looking then dewy but this champagne colour was the opposite to a lot of one’s I had previously tried. It really gave off a fresh dewy look to areas I highlight instead of looking like I poured oil on myself 😂 I pat the cream highlight on my cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupid’s bow lightly, as if you drag, you will remove the highlight and even foundation from your face.
Overall, I am extremely impressed and happy I purchased this product. It is €24.95 in pharmacies and it is 100% worth it. Only thing is the cream champagne highlight I won’t use as much as the golden one as I love a really bling bling highlight, but if you want a fresh look to your skin, this is perfect for you!
